This is an utterly captivating story, and worthy of refinement. In the editing department, the most humorous was the series of repeated paragraphs that I first read to be a glitch in an A. I. but was just a publishing error. Far more egregious is the gross misunderstanding of the nature of living a full life, being a widow, and moving into a new phase of life. Perhaps I am more sensitive than many, having been a funeral director for many years, and having had in my youth many friends who were in their eighties and above, and not the least having married a widow myself. New relationships invariably come into conflict with fond memories of the previous life. Further research by the author would serve him well. It does not matter what time period that the story takes place the human nature and drama remain the same. Write what you know or research what you don't yet know.Product details

What a great read for all ages. Seton makes us think of the future, growing old with the chance to be young again and take on the new universe. Can't wait to see where Millie takes us next.
Very interesting hard. To put down book. Interesting characters. Well thought out story. Easy to follow and keeps your interest peeked.
Took a little to get into the flow but the story took off and the characters jelled to turn this into a first class adventure and story line.
I am not much for war stories, however this was bloody and I liked it. Senior citizens turned into young fighting machines. Several races join together to stop another race from taking over the galaxy. It was fast pace and a page turner.
A smooth, action packed and excellent read. "Rim War Subversion," provides us a fascinating look into the probable future challenges mankind may encounter. The story line logic is done very well and carries the reader forward in a very believable adventuresome book.
Interesting Scenario, Millie is 105 years old and has to move into a Federal Retirement home. She is not happy, but a new law forces those over 105 in to the Federal Homes. But on her first day, Millie discovers that little is what it seems. People are disappearing and the Smart ones always go first. And Millie is one of the smartest.
Lots of surprises and thrills in a new plot!
I'll give this book a strong 4 star rating. It could have been a five but it drifted too far and too fast into more of a fantasy then syfy.
I enjoyed the twist of taking old folks and making them young and fit again, that could just be my age and wishful thinking.It's on my mind a lot these days.
Once the story line swung onto the space station and turned into a rescue mission it read like every other heroic fantasy book.
This book started out strong but pestered out from that point on, same old same old.
Still I enjoyed the book and it held my attention, if is see the next installment show up on a 99 cent special I will read the next installment but the characters and writing isn't strong enough for the author to make it a strong selling series.
